This is where we encourage and welcome authoritative articles on all issues related to Health and Wellness.  Like a coin, “authoritative” has two sides. On one, a medical practitioner, researcher or academic may have an in depth knowledge or experience with regard to a given subject. On the other, authoritative insight can come from a “lay” person with little or no academics or schooling in the same subject, other than for the personal experience...malady, condition  or  affliction...by which they too became "authoritative". We are very interested in this point of view and perhaps we can better communicate to the medical community the patient/family perspective.
